Organic Coagulants for Industrial Water Treatment
KCE Group offers organic coagulant chemistries and specialized polymers for treatment programs across industrial wastewater and process-water applications. Product selection is based on water chemistry, contaminant profile, treatment objectives and downstream separation equipment.
Core Organic Coagulant Range
| Product family | Primary function | Suitable applications |
|---|---|---|
| Polyamine | Charge neutralization, color reduction and solids destabilization | Textile and dye effluent, ETP clarification, paper process water and industrial wastewater |
| PolyDADMAC | High-charge cationic coagulation and turbidity control | Raw-water clarification, sludge conditioning, paper mills, mineral processing and coagulant-aid programs |
| PolyDCDA | Decolorization and removal of difficult dissolved or colloidal impurities | High-color textile effluent, dye wastewater and selected chemical-process streams |
Specialized Polymer Portfolio
- Anionic polyacrylamide flocculants for mineral fines, inorganic suspensions and clarification.
- Cationic polyacrylamide flocculants for sludge dewatering, biological solids and organic-rich effluent.
- Non-ionic polyacrylamide for low-charge process streams and selected mineral systems.
- High- and medium-molecular-weight grades with application-specific charge density.
- Powder and liquid treatment programs for clarifiers, thickeners, filter presses and centrifuges.
How the Combined Treatment Program Works
| Treatment stage | Action | Potential result |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Coagulation | Polyamine, PolyDADMAC or PolyDCDA helps neutralize particle charge and destabilize colloids. | Fine contaminants become more responsive to flocculation. |
| 2. Flocculation | A selected polymer bridges destabilized particles into larger flocs. | Supports settling, flotation or filtration. |
| 3. Separation | Clarifier, thickener, DAF, filter press or centrifuge separates formed solids. | Can produce clearer water and support improved sludge handling. |
Applications
Organic coagulants and specialized polymers may be evaluated for ETP and STP treatment, mining and mineral processing, textile and dye wastewater, paper and pulp operations, and industrial process-water clarification.
Performance depends on influent characteristics, pH, dosage, mixing, temperature and separation equipment. Jar testing and controlled plant trials are recommended to establish the appropriate chemistry and operating dose.
